Golumpki Dinner

Mission Area:
Sharing the Journey
 
Purpose:
The Golumpki Dinner welcomes CLC members and people from the community to a time of fellowship, good food, and fun. Profit made from this event goes to CLC's Mission Endowment Fund.
 
How people can participate:
At the time of the event, people are needed to help with:
  • setup (2-4 people set up tables earlier in the day)
  • preparing and cooking the golumpkis (2-4 people, from 8am till about 12:00).
  • start roasters at 7:00am the next morning. With the dinner beginning at 4:30
  • serving (6 people for two 2-hour shifts)
  • taking tickets and managing cash (2 people for two 2-hour shifts)
  • cleanup (4-6 people)
Before the event, help is needed with publicity, flyers, and lining up people to run the event.
 
Description:
The secret golumpki recipe is kept under lock and key in the church office.
Watch out for blown fuses.
Make extra golumpkis for takeout.
Make sure to take fliers to Adco.
